The Bank of Utah Championship debuted in 2024, its first year on the PGA TOUR schedule. Bank of Utah became the title sponsor in 2025. The 2024 champion was Matt McCarty, and in 2025, he will defend his title against an even stronger field, featuring PGA TOUR pros and Korn Ferry Tour graduates competing for FedExCup points and 2026 season exemptions.
The 2025 Bank of Utah Golf Championship is expected to generate over $25 million in local economic impact for Utah’s tourism, hospitality, and transportation industries.
Bank of Utah Championship 2025 Location
Bank of Utah Championship 2025 is coming to the Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah, USA. This venue has been hosting the event since 2017 and is part of the Korn Ferry Tour. The club, situated north of Salt Lake City, has an unbeatable view of the Wasatch Mountain Range. The whole course is set across rolling terrain with loads of mature trees. This par-71 course has 18 holes with tight fairways and fast greens.
The signature holes are 9th, 15th, and 18th. The par-4 9th hole gives an elevated tee shot and a view that stretches right out over the course and the mountains. The 15th hole is a beautifully laid out par three surrounded by trees and water hazards. The last par-5 18th is a challenge hole.
The weather in October here is warm and dry during the day, though evenings can get slightly cool. Try wearing lightweight and breathable golf polos. As for bottom wear, stretchy golf trousers or shorts are the way to go. Pack waterproof golf jackets in your golfing bad. Don't forget a golf cap, some polarised sunglasses, and a pair of breathable gloves to keep your grip on the club.
Bank of Utah Championship 2025 Schedule
The tournament is being held from October 21, 2025 to October 26, 2025. Here are the details of the Golf Bank of Utah Championship 2025 dates:
1. Tuesday (October 21, 2025): Pro-Am and Pairings Party

From morning to late afternoon, players arrive at the course and practice individually or with their caddies.

The pairings party takes place in the evening, where pairings will be announced for participants and PGA TOUR professionals. (Invitation only)

The course is closed to the public.
2. Wednesday (October 22, 2025): Practice Round

Marcella presents the official Pro-Am day.

This is the official practice round where participants (amateurs) play with professionals, followed by media interviews and photo sessions.

Pre-round breakfast, access to “The Yard” practice facility, on-course food service, post-round reception, and other activities are available for Pro-Am.

The course is closed to the public.
3. Thursday (October 23, 2025): Round 1

This is the first round of competition.

Gates open at 7:00 AM.

Tee times start from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM (1st and 10th tees).

Players start from two separate tees (1st and 10th) in groups of two or three.
4. Friday (October 24, 2025): Round 2

This is the second round of competition, where players try to move up on the Bank of Utah Championship 2025 Golf Leaderboard.

Tee times start from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM (Continuing the split tee start).

Only the Top 65 and Ties will play the weekend.
5. Saturday (October 25, 2025): Round 3

The third round is only for players who made the cut.

This is the moving day, where players try to get into the final round.
6. Sunday (October 26, 2025) - Final Round

The champion will be announced, and the trophy presentation will take place after the final putt on the 18th green.

1. General Admission / Daily Pass
The General Admission Pass gets you on the grounds for one full day of play. These passes also include parking. Prices start at $132 (Thursday) and increase slightly to $146 on Saturday and Sunday, according to Vivid Seats. Each adult pass also includes free admission for up to 2 children under 16. You’ll be able to walk the course, follow your favorite players, and enjoy the atmosphere from designated spectator areas.
2. Hospitality Tickets
The VIP and hospitality tickets offer access to premium viewing areas, indoor or shaded seating zones, complimentary food and drinks, and private hospitality tents. Pricing and inclusions are not yet listed, but the official tournament website mentions “VIP Experiences” and “Hospitality Packages”. These tickets may also include valet parking, shuttle service, and exclusive merchandise.
3. Club & Partner Experiences
The club or partner experiences (sometimes branded as Marcella Club) get you into special event areas, networking lounges, and player meet-and-greets. These are limited in availability and often tied to official sponsors or Pro-Am players. They combine entertainment, business networking, and leisure.
The official site doesn't list out the prices, but other events at the same venue (Black Desert Resort) have charged around $350 per day for Thurs and Fri and $400 per day for Sat and Sun. On the resale sites, you can find an average price of $268, with the lowest price coming in at around $144, depending on the day and where you're sitting.
4. Parking and Transportation
All tickets purchased through Ticketmaster include on-site parking. You will receive information on designated parking lots and shuttle times. The first shuttle starts at 8:00 a.m. and runs throughout the day.

Bank of Utah Championship 2025 Prize
The total purse of the Bank of Utah Championship 2025 is $6,000,000. The winner of the Championship earns approximately $1,080,000. The 2025 Bank of Utah Championship is part of the bigger FedEx Cup Fall Series. The players will also earn some valuable FedEx Cup ranking points based on how they finish. If you don't make the cut or withdraw early, you'll likely get a smaller payout or nothing at all, but the prize for missing the cut hasn't been officially revealed for the 2025 event.
