Wyndham Championship 2025 Location

The 2025 Wyndham Golf Championship will be held at Sedgefield Country Club, Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. This course features 5 tee boxes for all skill levels. Notable holes are 6, 12, and 14. There are four par-3s and only two par-5s (holes 5 and 15). Hole 15 is the easiest and most scoring hole. The fairway slopes downhill, and the green is slightly elevated and surrounded by tricky bunkers. Hole 18 is the last and difficult hole.

A 2-acre training ground is available with TrackMan swing analysis and ultradwarf Bermuda practice greens. The practice bunkers were updated in 2020 for tour preparation. Tudor style clubhouse includes VIP skyboxes, “Slammin’ Sammy’s” bar and lounge, and junior golf events.

Sedgefield Country Club can be hot and humid during a tournament. Dry-fit golf polos and lightweight trousers or shorts are best. Wear a cap or bucket hat for sun protection. Don’t forget polarised sunglasses and golf gloves for comfort and grip.

Wyndham Championship 2025 Pre-Qualifier

The 2025 Wyndham Championship pre-qualifier is the chance for golfers without PGA Tour status to get into this major event. It will take place on July 22, 2025 at the Bermuda Run Country Club – East Course in North Carolina with 81 players in the field.

It’s a one-day 18-hole stroke play event. The goal of the pre-qualifier is to get the top players into the Monday qualifier. Amateurs are allowed to play but must have a USGA handicap of 2.0 or lower. Professionals are also eligible but those from the top categories of the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, Champions Tour, or DP World Tour can go directly into the Monday qualifier.

The entry fee is $250, but PGA Tour Americas members get a discounted rate of $200. Players who make it through the pre-qualifier will have to pay an additional entry fee for the Monday qualifier. According to the tournament rules, about 20-25% of the field ( or a number based on the final player count) will qualify for the next round. In case of ties, a hole-by-hole playoff will determine who earns a spot.
