3M Open 2025 Location
The 3M Open 2025 will be held at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, just north of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area. The course is a beautiful blend of wetland and prairie styles, featuring scenic views and technical challenges.
The field has 72 bunkers and 27 water hazards with water in play on 15 of the 18 holes. The rough areas are comprised of a Kentucky bluegrass and fescue mix. The clubhouse also has a golf academy on site with video swing analysis. Now let’s talk about the signature holes which make this course a fan favorite.
-
Hole 18 is a long par-5 that runs along a lake where players must carry their second shot over water. This hole often decides the results.
-
Hole 17 is a short par-3 all over water where wind conditions make club selection very tricky.
-
Hole 13 is a technical par-4 with a narrow fairway and elevated green with bunkers and water.
At the end of July, Minnesota is warm, humid, and sometimes rainy. So, wear a lightweight and breathable golf polo. Pair it with stretchy shorts or golf trousers. Since rain can pop up at any time, carry a waterproof jacket in your bag. Comfortable and breathable golf joggers will help with grip on wet ground.
