BMW Championship 2025 Location

The tournamanet will be held at Caves Valley Golf Club, Owings Mills, Maryland, USA. This is in the north-west suburbs of Baltimore and is a member-owned, not-for-profit golf club. First time BMW Championship was held here in 2021 and now returning this year. This field is known for its fast bent grass greens, rolling fairways, elevation changes, and water hazards. Signature holes are 4 (par 4), 11 (par 3), 14 (par 4), and 18 (par 4).
August weather is warm and humid with occasional light rain. Wear a lightweight breathable polo shirt to absorb sweat. Golf shorts or lightweight trousers are best for comfort. For sun protection a cap or visor and sunglasses are a must. It’s also a good idea to carry a light rain jacket if it rains.
BMW Golf Championship 2025 Schedule
The tournament is set to take place from August 12, 2025 to August 17, 2025. Here is the detailed schedule:
1. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 (Practice Day)

BMW Championship 2025 Tickets
Different categories of tournament tickets are given below:
1. General Admission / Grounds Tickets
You can buy Grounds Tickets for individual days for $30 to $115. These tickets get you access to all 18 holes of the course, including practice rounds (August 12–13) and tournament rounds (August 14–17). Children 15 and under get free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Mastercard cardholders get preferred pricing (around $95–$105 per day) but only for a limited number of tickets.

Trophy Club by Michelob ULTRA: It is available near the par-3 17th hole with climate-controlled seating, upgraded food and drinks, and private restrooms. The cost varies from $55 – $210 per person.

The Barn: Located near the 18th fairway, it offers unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, upgraded restrooms, and exclusive space. This package costs approximately $350 per person.

Harbor Club: This is the premium stadium-style seating near the 18th hole. The package includes food and drinks, air-conditioned lounges, private restrooms, and 1 parking pass per 2 tickets. Its price is $575 per person.

Bay Club: It is an ultra-luxury, climate-controlled indoor venue with restaurant-level dining (by Atlas Group), premium bar service, outdoor covered seating, VIP valet parking (1 pass per 2 tickets). The package costs approximately $1,250 per person.
Active duty, veterans, retirees, and active reserve personnel from all military branches get free Grounds Tickets Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets are available at the official BMW Championship website. All tickets are mobile only; you must add them to your phone wallet or ticket app and scan them at the gate.

In the BMW Championship 2025, only the top 50 in the FedExCup standings after the FedEx St. Jude Championship can play. Leading the way is Scottie Scheffler, who is currently number one in the FedExCup standings. Joining him are Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa, and Rory McIlroy who have all qualified.
And some new and exciting names who have qualified are Wyndham Clark, Ludvig Åberg, Sahith Theegala, Patrick Cantlay, Sungjae Im, Shane Lowry, Tony Finau, and Jason Day. After the BMW Championship the top 30 players move on to the Tour Championship, the top 50 get direct entry into next season’s Signature PGA Tour events and The Players Championship.

BMW Championship 2025 Prize
The BMW Championship 2025 has a total purse of $20 million. The winner gets $3.6 million, 18% of the total purse. The runner-up gets $2.18 million, third place gets $1.38 million, and fourth place gets $980,000. The players who finish in the top 30 of the FedExCup standings after the BMW Championship also get money from an additional bonus pool of $23.93 million. The player who leads the FedExCup standings gets $5 million. These bonuses are paid out after the final FedExCup event (the Tour Championship). These players also get direct entry into next season’s Signature Events and The Players Championship.
